Samuel Refined is a Ghanaian-UK–based gospel music minister, recording artist, and singer-songwriter known for his passionate worship and heartfelt devotion to God. He serves faithfully as a worship leader in his local church, using his gift to draw others into the presence of God.

From an early age, Samuel’s musical journey was shaped by his Christian upbringing and the influence of his musically gifted mother. His deep love for music led him to join his church choir, where he quickly rose to become music director by the age of 16 a testament to his dedication, talent and leadership.

Throughout his career, Samuel has collaborated and shared platforms with some of the most respected names in gospel music, including Uche Agu, Joe Mettle, KODA, MOGmusic, Joe Wilson, Tye Tribbett, Nii Okai, and many more. He currently serves as a backing vocalist for Diana Hamilton, the multi-award-winning Vodafone Ghana Music Awards “Best Female Vocalist,” while also pursuing his solo career.

On January 1, 2025, Samuel Refined released his debut EP titled Grateful, a body of work that reflects his heart of thanksgiving and reverence toward God. Samuel believes deeply that gratitude is a spiritual multiplier, drawing inspiration from the biblical story of Jesus feeding the five thousand, where thanksgiving preceded the miracle, leading to overflow and abundance.

Samuel’s ministry is anchored in his belief that music is a divine instrument of worship and a channel through which God connects with His people. His mission is to use his voice and songs to inspire worship, ignite faith, and lead countless lives closer to Christ. He continues to minister across concerts, church events, and kingdom gatherings with a sound that blends passion, purpose, and purity.

Away from the stage, Samuel is a devoted husband, proud father of two, and a dedicated secondary school teacher.

Why “Refined”?
When asked about the inspiration behind his name, Samuel points to Zechariah 13:9 a verse that beautifully captures his journey through God’s refining fire, emerging as a vessel prepared for His glory.
